Koh Samui Wedding Planner

The Wedding Bliss Thailand works nationwide, yet we still have our favourite locations. Koh Samui is definitely one of them, and has a special place in team’s hearts.

The Wedding Bliss offers a comprehensive all-round wedding planning and design service in Samui for their international clientele. Appeal of Koh Samui is naturally understandable, yet The Wedding Bliss manages to bring out even more magical side of the island, creating absolutely breathtaking events in private villas, hotels and other luxurious properties.

The very first event The Wedding Bliss produced on Samui was a sumptuous 5-day wedding extravaganza, for a couple from Canada, blending in Indian, Vietnamese and European traditions, with differently themed parties and dinners every night.

Ever since then, the team fell in love with the island’s vibe — relaxed luxury with a great local authenticity, variety of amazing properties to host events of all scales, and amazing young feel to it all.

The company’s motto is to create multi-sensory experiences, events that fully reflect couples and their personalities, at the same time deeply connected with venue and destination character. Their expertise in many areas, floral design, set décor, entertainment, local and international cuisine, mixology, and so on, allows the team to provide a truly unparalleled level of service to their clients.

What to Know When Planning a Wedding in Koh Samui

Weather – There are two seasons in Koh Samui: the wet and the dry season. The wet season starts in late September and ends in late December. The dry season begins in February and ends in May, with June to September having an equal share of sunny and rainy days. It’s basically pleasant all year round in Koh Samui except for the frequent rainfall during the wet season.

Best Time of the Year to Plan a Wedding in Koh Samui – February is the best time of the year to do a wedding in Koh Samui. Not only is it the start of the dry season, but unlike April and May where it’s hot and humid, February’s weather is still quite pleasant with the cool breeze yet very low chances of rainfall. The waters are also calmer in February, which means you and your guests will have more fun swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving.

Options for Venues – Koh Samui has a developed tourism infrastructure and you won’t have any problems looking for the perfect venue for your dream wedding. You can take your pick from clifftop villas with stunning views of the Gulf of Thailand, or expansive beachfront villas that have the vast horizon and the crystal blue waters as your backdrop. Whatever venue you have in mind, rest assured Koh Samui will deliver.

Suppliers – Because Koh Samui has become one of the top locations for destination weddings in Southeast Asia, world-class suppliers have anchored their businesses on the island. From the freshest flowers imported from abroad to the most discerning caterers, to international DJs or bands, rest assured Koh Samui’s suppliers will turn your dream wedding to reality.

International Airport – Though Koh Samui’s airport is not as busy as Phuket or Bangkok, it does have a few international flights. They have direct flights to and from Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Nepal. It is also privately owned by Bangkok Airways.

Unlimited Options for Accommodation – Koh Samui is Thailand’s 2nd biggest and 2nd most popular island, which means there are plenty of accommodations to choose from. Your guests can stay in the most luxurious 5-star resorts with private beaches, clifftop hotels with infinity pools that seem to dangle off a cliff, and many private villas that offer privacy and exclusivity.

Activities – Koh Samui has a more laid-back and low-key appeal as compared to Phuket, which means your kids will definitely enjoy the rest and relaxation they’ll experience on the island. But just because Koh Samui is less lively than Phuket, it doesn’t mean there’s little to do on the island. There are temples to visit, beaches to sunbathe in, plenty of shipping opportunities, and a world of natural beauty to explore.
