It is a wonderful creative experience not to be limited in your design vision and create an event combining not one, but two different aesthetics! As a destination wedding planner, we try to bring out the best from each location we work with, highlighting its unique features, Thai culture, and nature.
Phuket obviously calls for the sea and the beach, but sometimes we like to bring some unexpected element into our designs or mix a few that are not directly related, but make a beautiful impact when combined.
For Wang and Chen’s destination wedding in Phuket, we aimed for two very different, but independently gorgeous vibes — an elegant all-white, garden-inspired set up for the ceremony, and colourful southern motifs for the reception.
The ceremony on the beach was taking place under a wide gorgeous altar, with tree branches supporting a lush floral structure. The aisle lined with garden roses and greenery made a gorgeous walkway for our bride.
The dinner needed to convey a different story and reflect an outgoing and playful personality of the couple, hence, a southern theme. Potted cacti, colourful hues, and a Sicily-inspired dessert bar with lemons, — all this made the guests say wow!
