The Glamorous and romantic couple, Irena and Aaron chose to host their second wedding in Phuket with family and friends, following a larger and a more formal reception in Hong Kong. They met in Macau and got engaged there a year later, with a touching poem written by Aaron and a beautiful pear-cut diamond ring from Tiffany and Co.
Destination weddings are special because of their laid-back vibe, intimate, and joyful atmosphere. Being a jeweler, Irena is very detail-oriented, hence, throughout the planning process, we worked to create an organic and romantic look of the special day. From leafy bouquets to candlelit dinner tables, everything was about minimalistic and nature-inspired beauty.
A playful element at the ceremony were witty marriage and love quotes written on wooden boards, which guests enjoyed reading while sipping on their welcome cocktails.
The bride looked amazing in her elegant, yet sexy Katie May gown complemented with a classic Pronovias veil and pearl jewelry. Our handsome groom Aaron looked very dapper in his classic black suit from Harvey Nichols, and you could see sparks flying between them as they set off for a beautiful sunset portrait session with Darya, the photographer behind TheCablook Fotolab.
Reception, was originally planned to be outside but last-minute changes to move it indoors were decided on, yet our team of Phuket wedding planners preserved the charm of an intimate, candlelit dinner with the help of lights and flowy drapes. Guests were treated to a hand-poured scented candle from Thai artisan makers, with a name tag tied to it as a place card. With live jazz band, delicious meal, emotional first dance, and that sweet wedding cake, the night was full of love and real happiness, just like every dream wedding should be.
