Reanne and Patrick

When both the bride and groom have romantic and playful personalities, the wedding is destined to be magical and fun! So it happened for Reanne and Patrick, a lovely couple from Hong Kong, who chose to celebrate their destination wedding in Phuket together with their closest family and friends.

Paying tribute to their home culture, the couple started the day with traditional Chinese games and tea ceremony. The gorgeous bride dressed in red for happiness and luck and fun activities planned for the groom and his groomsmen set the mood for the rest of the day, — with lots of smiling, laughter, and memorable moments.

Main events — sunset vow exchange and reception dinner — took place at a luxurious 5-star hotel in Kamala area of Phuket. The Naka Phuket, a member of Design Hotels TM, offers a beautiful setting for a private wedding ceremony, which we further enhanced with design elements and floral decoration. For the vow exchange, our professional destination wedding planning team created a dreamy floral arch with soft pink and cream blooms, full of leafy greens highlighting a beautiful natural backdrop: sea views, tall palm trees, and unity of lush tropical flora and sandy beach.

While waiting for the bride and groom to arrive for their nuptials, guests had some time to write their sweet wishes for the newlyweds and take some photos with the gorgeous setting.

With this beautiful setting our bride Reanne looked like real royalty, in her princess gown and whimsical Sophia Webster shoes. Bouquet, a combination of the bride’s favourite flowers: peony, astilbe, and sweet peas, — became a perfect complement to her classy and sweet and look.

After the ceremony it was time to move to reception dinner, which took place under a beautifully decorated marquee, full of whimsical lights and pastel florals. Since the wedding took place in the rainy season, the marquee is an essential functional element. However, it also plays an important decorative role, establishing a cozy, welcoming space for celebration.

The night finished with a sensual first dance and spectacular fireworks — one of the most anticipated moments of the day — leaving everyone gathered amazed and delighted.
