Fall 2015 Wedding Trends

Just like about everything in our life, wedding industry is also influenced by fashion trends. Marsala: Color of the Year

Annually experts at the Pantone Color Institute define a color of the year. In 2015 this title went to Marsala. This deep red wine hue will add timeless class and elegance to a wedding. Creating very sumptuous and classy look, they are here to give a wedding ceremony a rich, romantic atmosphere. With its saturation, Marsala is an excellent base color, working exquisitely in various color combinations: it can be easily matched with aqua hues, or make a wonderful duo with warm olive, dusty rose or apricot.  

Marsala can be wonderfully applied to many areas: looking gracefully on silk bridesmaids dresses, adding rich accents into flower arrangements, seducing your guests from a hand-crafted and calligraphed invitations and RSVPs.  

For florals, Marsala does wonders both as a base color and as a color accent. Cream tablecloths or runners with leafy olive green centerpieces and bursts of this deep wine tone  will make a decadent and luxurious reception dinner look. Regal Shine: Metallic Highlights

Metallic touches can add glamour to a wedding reception and ceremony when done tastefully and moderately. This fall is all about a metallic touches of gold, copper, silver or platinum, creating noble and royal-like ambience. Splashy glitter is now gone, giving the way to more generous things.

Elegant copper, gold, silver or platinum accents are easily incorporated in floral design by using color sprays; with its help weddings cakes can now also look like jewels. Metallic ink on stationery, or exclusive cutlery on dining tables at receptions, bright silver or muted copper candle holders with elegant tealights — choose the are you think metals fits the most, but don’t overdo it. Metals are good as accents, creating a fairy-tale appeal, but when used too much, can overwhelm the rest of it.

Material Trends: Touches of Autumn

Autumn is a harvesting time, and when if not now shall we make the most of what the nature gives to us? Fall is time to get creative with lush fruits, berries and foliage. Wild and disheveled shapes of arrangements create a rustic luxury. Fruits can be used in surprising places — nestled within bouquets or as a part of artistic centerpieces.

A cake decorated with maple leaves and fresh berries will enhance the autumnal atmosphere of the wedding. Pears, grapes and berries incorporated into table decorations add interest and color to the reception and fit well with the season. Making use of the natural environment brings a harmonious feeling to a wedding reception.
